I cannot believe that I have not posted a weekend walk since the 15th February -
I suspect that as a group, we have not walked since then
And today, when we were in the hills,
I did wonder why we haven’t.
(Probably my friends found it hard to get me out of my garden).

Your studio was the reason until May, and then it was the garden. To be fair though, I was in my garden as well. Unless of course it was raining, and then walking isn’t a lot of fun then either, (At least not over the Welsh hills!) It was a good walk today. Gentle enough to get us going. I wonder how long before we reach the bridge? Shall have to test my flask. See you next week.
With a view such as this I cannot imagine not walking. I believe bucolic fits this lovely setting. Too bad they must put that large a patch of dye to identify the sheep. Though it rather works in a painterly way. Beautiful photograph! Carol

Glad to see the fine weather came to Wales too.Cold here tho’.But cold is better than the eternal wet rain.Beautiful light over the sea in your tranquil picture..
Lovely view, reminds me of our week back in September except for the lack of rain. I suspect it is the rain that has caused the lack of walking. When it wasnt raining you were trying to catch up with the garden.

Beautiful colours. walking in the winter always makes me get the oil paints out. You have reminded me to get out and walk over Christmas.

We are glad you did finally get out, and took your camera too. What a peaceful scene. I envy the whole picture and the friends with which to share it.

What a beautiful photo. Karen, it was about 5 or 6 years ago when Mr. Shady and I visited and toured around England and Scotland for 10 days. Oh, how I wish we’d had Just a little more time to visit Wales! Ten days wasn’t long enough, but it did satisfy a longing I’ve had “forever.”

It is so easy to crack on in the garden and not take opportunities for venturing further afield but you look as if you enjoyed your weekend walk.

The ram has been a bit lax!! Still I suppose the red bum doesnt suit everybody.
Love the sheep’s red arse – a bit like the Laboutin of the farmyard animals…
