As my vertigo is better than it was – and the osteopath suspects that the way I have been hunching over the computer probably contributed to it – it is more important that ever that I get out and walk – so Dobby, P and I went onto the beach for our weekend walk.

It was not a nice day, it was bitingly cold and rather grey but I was really, really surprised to find so much ice on the beach, I don’t think that I have seen ice on the beach before.

My Dog Merlin, has certainly never seen ice on the beach before and it took him somewhat by surprise when his legs slipped and slid as he was trotting along.

I know that I have left comments on a variety of blogs this week saying that we don’t have much snow in our garden, but we are surrounded by snow covered mountains and while they may look lovely with their blanket of snow -

I am fed up of playing this game now and wish it would get a bit warmer!

Understandably we were the only people out to-day, apart from three small dots on the horizon of the top picture, very hardy souls.
