Although we have had a couple of partially sunny days, but rain is forecast again.

Weather-wise, a pretty grotty summer.

The weather really has been rubbish for the past month …

I have had some sunshine here

No2 son, his wife and my baby grandson came to stay.

Obviously I got him started on the weeding straight away.

I first came across the following welsh proverb on Nancy’s – Leaping Greenly blog;-

“Perfect love sometimes does not come until the first grandchild”

I can so relate to this proverb now!

I am late again for garden bloggers bloom day.

I am so sad that they have all gone back home ….

And I look forward to having them to stay again (soon!)
