Old enough to know better ….

I am very fond of sweet peas, they are one of my desert island plants and I grow them every year. I am old enough and have been gardening long enough to know that mice eat sweet pea seeds.

To-day was the most fabulous spring day.  Where the air feels so soft against the skin.

The sky was clear, the sun warm and everything is right with the world.

It was a day for gardening, For admiring the plump buds of the peonies pushing up through the soil.

Happy St David’s Day.

I spent the day weeding in the garden, in warm sunshine.

Then I planted 20 Echinacea Bravado grown from seed last year.
