July Garden Bloggers Bloom Day. How quickly it has come around again.

This morning I collected my flowers from around the house,

And photographed them on the windowsill

In the garden I have Larkspur, cosmos, ammi majus, bergamont, verbena bonariensis, (Glass Vase)

Dahlia ‘Honka” Cactus Dahlia, whose name escapes me, Zinnia ‘Green Envy’ (Blue Mug)

Marigolds, 2 sorts of Helenium, and Rudbeckia Prairie Sun. (Kitchen Jug).

A very different feel compared to the flowers I had in a vase this time last year.

It is not the individual flowers that are giving me such pleasure this month,

But the way the planting looks all together …

A little wild and woolly, but quite satisfying.

in the The plants in the garden include:-

Foxtail lily (Eremrus) Allium sphaerocephalon, 2 types of Heleniums, Papaver somniferum, Eschscholzia (California poppy).

Ammi, Cosmos, Achillea ‘Flowerburst Red’, Ornamental Grasses, Verbena, White Verbasum, Echinacea ‘Art Pride’

In the Keyhole Garden;-

Monarda in two colours and Allium sphaerocephalon

This is the view looking back to the house and the planting includes

Rudbeckia purpurea, Digitalis ‘Stewartii’, Fennel

And in the bottom left the orange blob is this:-

I muddled up the labels on my Echinacea last year – I think it may be E. ’Hot Papaya’

These are just some of the plants that are in flower at the moment.

You have no idea how happy the above sentence makes me – it means the garden is starting to look fuller!
