Two days late for Bloomday – Monday it was raining, and yesterday I was away from home all-day – but to-day was a beautiful day, with blue, blue sky and sunshine. Unfortunately despite the wonderful weather we have been having for the past few weeks, I don’t have many flowers in the [...] Nothing, Zero, Zilch, Naught, Nil, Non, Nada, Diddly-Squat. To-day the rain returned and as it was several degrees warmer all remnants of the snow has vanished and the garden looks …. Well, woe begotten I suppose. I think because of the hard weather we have had over the past month [...] Well – 4 days late with my post for GBBD, I considered not doing one, as this really is rather late, but I know that I would regret it next year, or next month, as the GBBD posts are developing into a nice record of what blooms when.
