Great! Happy to know that Mrs Grumpy has cheered you up.
I still think that Mrs Grumpy should get together with some of your “friends” – the health and safety dogs perhaps????
K
As well as what Helen said, part of the problem is the light is so awful for taking good photos to show things off at this time of year *sympathetic face*
I’ve had a good giggle – thank you. I hope Shed Man’s foot is better soon.
chuckle but I thought NAH had somewhere like this for his train? – I suppose it is not quite the same as having it in the garden, but I do seem to get a lot of sawdust etc in the house!!!!!
K
Thank you – I believe you are right the last appearance of Mrs Grumpy was 18 months ago – I find it hard to believe she has kept quiet for that long. I think she was very busy and these comics take hours to produce, hopefully she wont leave it so long before another one.
K
Oh dear, I’m not sure who I felt more sorry for. Shedman or the plants!I don’t think anything can damage pulmanaria, so I shouldn’t worry too much. When will Etsy be up and running again?
Hi Dobby …. What about Mrs Grumpy, dont you feel just a little bit sorry for her? Two days and she has managed to put three things in her ETSY shop http://www.etsy.com/shop/ArtistsGardenStudio
Hooray for the return of Mrs. Grumpy! It couldn’t be better timed to coincide with Bah Humbug of certain late December, consumer oriented holidays here across the pond. Buy now! Collect them all!!!! So glad Mrs. G was able to get things rolling, the moose/heart is adorable!
xxxooo
F
Frances, lovely to hear from you – glad you like the moose/heart! Yes, Mrs Grumpy is bah humbug personified, and she hasn’t even started the whole C. thing yet!!
K
Good to see the return of a grouchy Mrs Grumpy and glad to hear that those innocent little smiley flowers and Shedman are no longer quaking. Shedman’s shed reminds me of himself’s garage which I enter at my peril. Good luck with the Etsy venture!
Janet, thanks for the nudge – Sometime ago I am sure I started to create a proper page with links to all the comics – I will try and sort that out I think it is buried deep in my wordpress dashboard somewhere and put a link in the sidebar or something. I think my favourite one is the one about the magical kitchen garden which is
Celine – I really intended to do a links page for all the comics and your comment (and Janet’s comment above) have given me the nudge I need. Glad you enjoyed it
K
I sympathize with Mrs. Grumpy; maybe that is why I like her so much. I also have some difficulties taking proper photos for Etsy – especially when I prefer to use the natural light. It’s difficult when it is dark going to work and dark when coming home from work.
Hi Jill – yes I prefer natural light too – which is why it was all becoming rather stressful! and lets not even mention how long it takes to do all the descriptions and tags when you put things on ETSY … sigh
(and I’m with Mrs G, especially as I intend to reconfigure the telephone exchange with an axe at present. Broadband? We’d be better off with carrier pigeon. Grr.)
No, the season of goodwill doesn’t start for another 10 days – so are absolutely fine, but I hope you feel a little less grumpy now?
Thanks for dropping in
K
Poor old shedman. Sympathise of course with the lovely mrs g but standing on his foot seems a bit harsh. I suppose if his shed is anything like ian’s workshop there may have been nowhere else for you to put your feet!
Hi Karen, I followed over from Fays blog, Wind and the Wellies and Wow, what a great blog. I long for a garden and I am in Wales too. Have subscribed and look forward to reading backwards as well as your new posts.
Plants like a little excitement, now and then. And winter can be so ………………………
chuckle – yes winter can be so ………… Although I quite like it …. sometimes – when things are going well in the studio!

K
It’s bloody cold!!
It is indeed P – That is why the garden wants to go to sleep and not have Mrs Grumpy disturbing it!
K
very good – I was quite worried what the problem was but it was only you being fussy!:)
Haha – you know me SO well!

K
Fabulous! You might be grumpy but it cheered me up.
Great! Happy to know that Mrs Grumpy has cheered you up.

I still think that Mrs Grumpy should get together with some of your “friends” – the health and safety dogs perhaps????
K
Great – Mrs Grumpy returns
As well as what Helen said, part of the problem is the light is so awful for taking good photos to show things off at this time of year *sympathetic face*
I’ve had a good giggle – thank you. I hope Shed Man’s foot is better soon.
You are so right VP and Mrs Grumpy really appreciated your *sympathetic face* and is glad someone understands
K
PS I’d better not show NAH Shed Man’s shed – he wouldn’t be horrified, just jealous
chuckle but I thought NAH had somewhere like this for his train? – I suppose it is not quite the same as having it in the garden, but I do seem to get a lot of sawdust etc in the house!!!!!
K
Ha sawdust I could live with. We get splinters of aluminium!
ouch – that sounds like it could be uncomfortable, do they get everywhere?
K
I see it sparkle, and then I carefully remove it ;~)
Thank you Karen, the return of Mrs G is all that could be wished. At last a glimpse into Shedman’s Shed!!
You are welcome Linda – and yes – a glimpse of the Shedman’s domain ….. terrifying!
K
xx
Sorry for the various Stood Upons.
But delighted to see Mrs Grumpy back! We have missed you, it’s been forever. Before Meet at Malvern???
Thank you – I believe you are right the last appearance of Mrs Grumpy was 18 months ago – I find it hard to believe she has kept quiet for that long. I think she was very busy and these comics take hours to produce, hopefully she wont leave it so long before another one.

Anna, thanks for the good wishes re ETSY – I have had a shop for a few years now, but rarely seem to get enough time to put things in it!
I am not sure that the flowers in An Artist’s Garden are very innocent, sometimes they seem all knowing to me!
K
If Mrs Grumpy didn’t have something to grump about, we wouldn’t get the comics. So, although I don’t wish you any ill will………….
chortle
K
I’m new to Mrs G. I’ll have to go back through your previous posts. Brilliant!

I find them terrific fun to make, but rather time consuming, so I am delighted when people enjoy them.
K
very funny, it’s the first of Mrs Grumpy’s adventure I get to see, but I could have more ! Bravo !
Celine – I really intended to do a links page for all the comics and your comment (and Janet’s comment above) have given me the nudge I need. Glad you enjoyed it
K
Well that’s put a smile on my face too. Glad that you are quite mad x x x
Hi Mama – So glad this brought a smile to your face and that I am keeping up the family tradition of being quite mad!
Love you
K

How clever are you – I’ve never met Mrs. G before, brilliant
Thank you Elaine – hopefully it wont be such a long gap before Mrs Grumpy appears again here

Hee hee hee hee..
(and I’m with Mrs G, especially as I intend to reconfigure the telephone exchange with an axe at present. Broadband? We’d be better off with carrier pigeon. Grr.)
Well the carrier pigeons might have had trouble flying in yesterdays wind!
Glad you found it funny
K
feeling sorry for you all but smiling as I read
Karen something white around what you wish to photograph can make a big difference, good luck with the shop, Frances
Thanks for the tip Frances
I was thinking about you yesterday when the winds hit Scotland and I do hope that all is well with you
K
thanks for your thoughts Karen, I’m fine, I was lucky as my electic stayed on, Frances
Welcome back Mrs G. Sometimes a grump here and there helps! xogail
chortle – Mrs Grumpy is nearly back to her usual self of simply Grumpy as opposed to really grumpy and feels much better for the hissy-fit

K
xx
I’ve been such a grump in a gift shop this morning, I may have been a little rude
Is it the season of goodwill?
No, the season of goodwill doesn’t start for another 10 days – so are absolutely fine, but I hope you feel a little less grumpy now?
Thanks for dropping in

Poor old shedman. Sympathise of course with the lovely mrs g but standing on his foot seems a bit harsh. I suppose if his shed is anything like ian’s workshop there may have been nowhere else for you to put your feet!
Sadly, the workshop floor was really tidy – so there was no excuse for Mrs G’s behaviour, but at least she didn’t kick him
K
Cute, as always!
Thank you Shady Gardener – lovely of you to take time to leave a comment much appreciated

Why are we waiting … I love to see this response to your comics! We LIKE!
