Remember in 1991 when we had the wrong kind of snow for British Rail to keep the tracks clear, well I have the wrong kind of images for the image editing workshop! No seriously, amongst my 1,000’s of images - I never seem to have taken photos of interesting doorways, signs, vintage writing or wonderful faces. [...] […]
Sorry to hear about the storm in the last post. It is the heat that is a problem here.
I hope you have a zoom and didn’t get this close to Mr. Slimy. Sandy´s last blog ..lightning photos from southern maine
We’ve had so much rain lately that the air smells wet even when it’s not raining at all! Tomorrow will hit 100 degrees, and the humidity will be about the same. Feels like a steamy jungle! Your slug might fry if it tried to cross the walkway! debsgarden´s last blog ..Snowflakes in July
What a horrible looking slug – my least favourite garden pest. Poor you and poor garden with all the wind and rain, my has just heat (35°) plus strong hot strong winds everyafternoon that come from the dirrection of the coast, but at least aren’t salt laden, but still very stressful for the plants
That really is an amazing photo – brilliant but yeuch! I hope your garden is getting itself back together – first the wind flattening then the rain. I was sad to see that a couple of my verbena bonariensis stems had been flattened so you have my sympathy. Arabella Sock´s last blog ..Gardeners Re-Imagined
Beautiful and colourful picture. I hope the slug has not tasted the nectar, for it may come back with friends for more and more….

Funny you should say this. We found a snail walking across our bedroom carpet recently! Lovely colour in the flowers, but not so sure about that slug! x
Wow! Great photo but ugh! nasty creature
It’s raining here too. Since the last couple of months actually, but the difference is that I love it! We’re dependent on this monsoon season to give us enough water for the other 9 months of the year. Sunita´s last blog ..Growing my own food
Keep finding them on the kitchen floor at the cat food.
And by the time they have eaten that they are huge!
I think the cats bring them in on their fur.

I hate slugs but what an awesome photograph. We have been away for a couple of weeks and when we left everything was looking a bit scorched. Now it is all soggy and bent over with the rain but lush too. elizabethm´s last blog ..Going on holiday
Ewwww. So slimy, but what an awesome photograph.

Shudder. Get it off! Get it off! Get it off!
I have a bit of a phobia when it comes to slugs and snails and such. Especially the big ones.
