What a stunningly beautiful picture! Artichokes are so dramatic. When I see something like that I marvel at the energy which has gone into producing such a flower/fruit – plants really are the most amazing things!

Just perfect. We have artichokes and eat them enthusiasticall early in the season. At some point we start to feel we cant be bothered with the pfaff which is artichoke eating and let them run to flower, which is another sort of lovely. elizabethm´s last blog ..some things that make me smile
