The Last Wednesday in July!

Cutting Garden Annuals

Windy Wordless Wednesday

GBBD in a Vase

I have been struggling with feeling under the weather for a few days now – but this morning I  gave in, as I feel quite yuck.

So I am afraid my Garden Bloggers Bloom Day post for July consists of a variety of flowers currently blooming in the garden;- stuck in a vase.

I am quietly happy with my arrangement, because when I look back to July last year – I had no flowers, and gave my bloom day attempt C+

Included in the “arrangement” are;-

Allium sphaerocephalom, Crocosmia, both Lucifer and regular momtbretia. Dahlias:- ‘Bishop of Llandaff”, “Bishops children” (grown from seed), ‘Arabian night”

Dill.  2 types of ornamental grass.  Poppy seed heads and flowers. Zinnias ‘yoga’, Cosmos ‘polidor’. Rudbeckia ‘green wizard’. Pink Astilbe. Penstemon ‘raven’. Echinacea ‘green envy’

Buddleja ‘black knight’. A biannual verbascum, who’s name I forget. Verbena bonariensis. Marguerites. Stachys (Lambs’ ears). Hebe. Echinops.

Oh and let us not forget Rudbeckia ‘green wizard’ which I like for flowering arranging, even though it gets called bad names.
