    What an absolutely gorgeous picture. It’s just getting dark here (at 10.15pm) and there’s something very poignant about the thought that from now until Christmas the days will be getting shorter.

    Oh, Victoria, lets not think about the shortening days, not yet. It was funny – we must have been doing a last wonder around our gardens at the same time, it was a lovely evening – and seemed to stay light for ages.
