Another very hot and muggy day But we did have a spot of rain this evening - Well, perhaps 40 spots Enough to freshen the air so that the scent of the lily Graces the garden.
I think it works like that a lot – if I put a lot of effort in, particularily if I am expecting something brilliant, it ends in nada. Then, when I relax and just take things as they come, it just happens. Lovely, deep colours you captured, and that curtain of branches… Simple and full of effect.

The sunset was indeed amazing - and it is one of the advantages of living on the west coast in the UK the sun just sinks into the sea - although these shots are from the garden because it was the amazing colour of the sky that I wanted. I have never seen one quite like it.

Jenna did tell me the sky was wonderful, Im sorry now I didnt rush to the window, instead of saying is it. It seemed a long way to the window at the time. Still the picture is Wonderful.

Hi Karen - so we were both photographing the sunset last night! Wasn’t it fabulous?
However, I had minor things like buildings that kept on getting in the way - oh for a willow tree instead!

It’s amazing how a little lighting change can make or break a photo! Those are gorgeous, Kim
