A wonderfully artistic picture of the humble cabbage. It looks good to eat,when it is fully grown. Red cabbage makes a very tasty dish cooked in red wine and spices.
I used ornamental cabbages last year in the planters at the front of the house. The deer snarfed them all! But whilst they lasted they made a very striking contrast with the Box cones I had planted then around.
They are strangely beautiful. A marmite plant maybe?
